I’m excited to announce that I worked as an online editor for this amazing HBO original documentary series, produced by Story Syndicate. This true-crime series differs from the others by focusing on the victims, rather than sensationalizing the perpetrator(s).
Working on a HBO show was New Year’s resolutions for 2023, and I look forward to more HBO opportunities to come!
I have yet to work on a project that utilizes the ACES workflow, but I’m keeping up with its developments because it’s just a matter of time at this point.
My next documentary project is going to start with DaVinci Resolve on this feature alone.
Creating subtitles automatically based on speech-to-text editing function is just showing off/up at this point. Haha
The pace of AI iterations is reaching dizzying height as OpenAI releases a suite of ChatGPT plugins.
Imagine what new ChatGPT plugins can enable for post production softwares like DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or Avid MediaComposer.
It’s exciting time for the post production industry, for sure.

It’s amazing how much I owe my current career to DaVinci Resolve & BlackMagic Design gears. This relatively small company is outrunning the big software companies like Adobe, and the big hardware companies like Sony and Arri.
And a CEO who can code is always big plus in my book.
