After years of indifference (& neglect), I’ve finally claimed my IMDB page. Yes!
I was aware of my credits on IMDB, but they were scattered on different pages because a) I never made my own page and b) I didn’t know how to claim & consolidate them into single IMDB page. It turns out that I need to sign up for IMDB Pro(!) and request through a webpage that looks like it’s from 2010s. Haha…
My credits were dispersed in 3 different pages, but they are consolidated into one page now after my requests went through. It was faster and less difficult than I expected, I must admit.
However, it’s still missing a few credits like my g & e work on Coming Down the Mountain, directed by James Ponsoldt. (I may tell my tales on that production after I retire from the industry. Haha…) And there’s unreleased / unannounced works that will never see the light of day but I digress.
Because I worked mainly in short forms and ads (aka sponsored content) until recently, I didn’t devote my time to pursue my own IMDB page. Since I made the conscious decision to pursue long form works, I needed one to prepare for future long form works, especially I aspire to work on scripted series or features in the future.
Now that it’s done, I’m filled with the similar feeling and excitement when I first saw my name on a big screen for the first feature film I worked on as a Production Assistant (This unfortunately fails to list me but I swear my name is in the credits, if you ever get to see it. Haha.) Hence, the reason for me to mark the occasion with this blog post.
Enjoy your weekend!
